I said I don't want to use other people's save file because their Aiden character is already heavily if not fully upgraded.
I want to start mostly a fresh Aiden on NG+ first time play through.
Surely there is a way to do it.
Like start a new game normal game, save the game, then be able to edit it so that it thinks the story is complete via a hack or editor of some sort?
Then I should be able to use that save file to start a NG+ and hence have a fresh new Aiden character.
Surely some sort of hack like this available to do by now?
Ill check it out again.
What I meant is I don't have time nor the intent to play through a game twice. I only have the time to play it once then move onto another game, if that makes sense?
You want to know why, the standard new game (non NG+):
1. does not scale quest enemies up to the player.
2. Does not have advanced special infected monster.
So you see, when I did the original game a while back, I was about 70% into the story, and almost every quest I did, the enemies were so weak, the game felt like a push over because in the original new game, the enemies do not scale up to the player, they are fixed. There was a story quest where I had to enter an enemy fortress, can't remember the name of the quest, but it was atleast half way through the game. There was like 50 bandits everywhere, i thought kool I will need to sneak past them. I ended up getting spotted, and they sounded the alarm and I had about 20+ bandits all surrounding me attacking me. I thought I was screwed, but then I realised each of their attacks was barely scratching me. So I stood still and freely let them attack me, and it took a good 2 minutes of them attacking me whilst i did not move on purpose, to kill me.
All because their level was a few levels lower than mine. After that, I thought the games combat is garabe and pretty much stopped playing it.
Unfortunately there is no mods that scale up quest enemies upto the player level, because apparantly it may be hard coded in. The only way is to do NG+, the devs have made NG+ quest enemies scale up to the player. Ontop of that, NG+ has more special infected to fight.
So I'm not sure what is more importend for you. As there seems to be no hacks or mods I would start a standard new game and just play straight the mainstory. No nighthunts, unnecessary sidequests or bounties. I think you will end up max at level 5 or 6 and you can develope the rest in a fresh NG+
But when is it more importend for you to get as soon as possible stronger und more infected and bandits just finisch your 70% game like I did.
At this time I just see only these two possibilities (when you really want to play the game)
