Buddy :'(
Why is a mission about a dog so heartbreaking?! It's the literal apocalypse, but I can't get over a dog dying.

Does anyone think Buddy could pull through if you leave him be, or is it really best to just mercy him?

Let him be, at least that gives him a chance on his own. He didn't look like he had any exterior physical wounds so who knows.

Buddy is in a area where virals can easily get to him.... buddy also can't walk. Its either you end him, or have the thought of "virals could be eating him"

They don't eat his corpse though. We just assume Buddy can't walk, but Aiden's not a vet, who's to say he might now have lived?

As Aiden is a pilger he'll see on his journeys enough deadly wounded humans and animals - and he'll know if some has a change to survive or not - and that without being a doc or vet

Not really, when most people are already dead life is cheap and hunger makes people do some twisted things. It's not an endorsement from my side to eat dogs.
I believe most meat will be lab grown in the future so far fewer animals will be killed in the process.
