Night Time is Awful
Volatiles are interfering with every aspect of the game at night. Did a GRE Anomoly, Volatile jumped into the area after I killed the Revenant, and followed me into the military truck with the Inhibitors, killed me. I respawned during the day, it was still there.

Trying to do "The Princess in the Tower", made it to the Dark Hollow after avoiding the Volatiles, only for there to be two directly inside the quest area that immediately killed me.

New patch is game breaking.

A level one player does not have that yet. You're assuming everyone is max level. Playing through from the START is impossible now.

Key point you're missing in they're going where they aren't supposed to. Indoors are supposed to be Volatile free at night, especially in a Mission area.

I got what you mean. indoors still should have a few Volatiles, some of them don't abandon their nest .if you started hard difficulty, actually it'll be ultra-hard for you. So you gotta be an escapist untill a certain level. Craft more UV light beside using UV flashlight because they'll be ur saviour in that kind missions.

I'm on Normal. That's quite literally not how Volatiles are supposed to work. Indoors is supposed to be safe from them. And, again, NO UV FLASHLIGHT AT THIS LEVEL.

I assume you meant safehouses by saying indoors. because dark areas are never safe even in night. You always used to encounter with a few Volatiles in there at nights. I can give you UV lights and some weapons if you need.

I agree that the spawning of volatiles is too much right now. I just started a playthrough, because of the new patch. First nightime i try to enter a "forsaken store" Or what they are called for some supplies. The zombies are suppose to be roaming the streets at night. But there are like 7 volatiles roaming in the tiny store, with all the sleeping zombies. Impossible to do early game.

I started playing new game too and never got volatiles in either forsaken store or dark hollow or lab at night.

Glad to hear it. At least it's not affecting everyone.

I agree. I have just started playing. At first it was going ok, and I could roam at night if i needed to, but now I can't do anything without being spotted and chased by volatiles. They designed the game to be played without volatiles roaming at night, and now they just throw them into the game all of a sudden. Why not just make it an option? I don't want to be forced into it, especially at the beginning of the game.

i agree with you 1000000000000% they were so lazy with it. they said "oh yall want more?" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scatters them EVERYWHERE. stupid.

do you have UV bars? if so use them. even a rank 1 UV bar can stun lock a Volatile if you throw 3 to 5 of them assuming they are Rank 1

Have the recipe, can't get the mats, since they're typically found in the areas Volatiles are roaming

I'm trying to do the "search for Moe" quest, and the building now has 5 volatiles day and night. Not sure how i'll complete this quest yet. I like the more dangerous nights but maybe some of the volatile spawns are busted? This patch needs some fine tuning and we'll be golden.

Exactly. Outside, they're fine, just gotta be more cautious when moving around. But inside, that needs work.

they need to add more special infected out during the day cause its impossible to kill banshees or demolishers with volatiles roaming around
