unplayable after update

just making the post to help the devs become aware. the game now crashes on the loading screen every time. no issues before the patch. cant get in game. please fix

i have no mods and have never used mods. this is just classic dying light 2 where every update breaks the game and we have to wait for another patch to fix it

All I could otherwise recommend is going to my documents/dying light 2/out. delete dx12psocache.bin and then go into the settings folder, and delete video.scr

I haven't had any issues since 1.3.0, which was a while ago. Sounds like it's something wrong with your computer.

I haven't had any issues since 1.3.0, which was a while ago. Sounds like it's something wrong with your computer.

ill give it a try thanks. techland is usually pretty quick at releasing their follow up patches though when this happens so im not too worried. i think the worst was bloody ties release when the game wouldnt open for 2 days

didnt work unfortunately. i can open the game and make it to the title screen. it crashes when loading my save. i guess the update corrupted my save or something. was playing perfectly fine this morning

You can switch between the new and old parkour system in the settings

you cant farm for legend points using screamers for lvl4 chases like before and the volatiles are harder to kill now

Ye the game keep crashing for me in the loading menu... I got hyped asf for the new update hehe.
