Died more to controls than enemies.
I can't be the only one who believe the controls in this game are finicky.
I'm on my second play though and i always seem to end up dying to fall damage over a button being pressed when it shouldn't have.

Not connecting with apparatus when attempting to climb or move around the city etc.

Annoying attack moves activating mid parkour.

Getting stuck under things like gaps in walls and ceilings etc forcing your player to crawl.

Glitchy movement making your player fall off items you're holding onto or better yet grabbing for areas that you're not aiming for.

Hypersensitive controls with no safety in place. Example being using your kick attack on a para glider gives you a leap forward. However it also can activate your ground slam attack causing you to fall 50 stories.

DL1 parkour was way more fun but DL2 feels fun a times but other times its just plain buggy.

yup, the game seems to have little systems which conflict and load in and out, so you jump and it doesn't grab, you let go when swinging and it queues it etc. When i first got the grapple hook it took me 45 minutes of dying to bad controls to get up the second big swing... games a mess compared to the first one you fight the controls more than the zombies.

This. This is the first game that I've died to a friggin tutorial. The controls feel disgusting when using a controller, like they are programmed by total amateurs. When that jumping weird zombie attacks combined with the others, all of a sudden I'm struggling to grasp the basic controls of the game. Absolutely terrible design decisions and this is coming from someone who's played games for at least 27 years.

I've said this before DL1 made me fell like David Belle, in DL2 I feel like David Bellamy

dying light 1 parkour is barebones as ♥♥♥♥. The reason why controls dont feel clunky because there is simply nothing to do in it. I am honestly amazed how bad it was after playing DL 2.
Other than this stupid comparison - i agree, controls are not good enough. I also find myself constantly falling of the roof or doing something i didnt want to. And after completing the story (meaning max lvl) it happens more and more, especially glider is not fluid enough, sometimes it is used immediately, sometimes it doesn't and you fall to death.

i honestly don't see how it is possible to waste 45 minutes on that section. I doubt it was controls problem

The only real control issues I've had so far is jumping for a ladder or something with RB on the 360 controller. If I have the joystick slightly off center my character will instead dodge...usually right off of whatever platform I'm standing on.
