It's harder to gain parkour XP
is anyone else having trouble with this?, because i usually get a lot XP from jumping between buildings and cars, but after the update i no longer get the xp and can only get it from vaulting and climbing and that only gives like 2 xp

So I'm not alone with this problem. The game is unplayable because you cannot gain new abbilities. I tried everything reinstalling the game and delete the save and begin a new game but problem prevails.

Did the game used to give more parkour experience?
I'm assuming it's a bug at the moment since nothing was mentioned in the patch notes.

yes, minimin xp which you were able to get was 10 or 20, so it was normal because for level up you need about 3000 xp, this way you will have at the end of the game max 5 abilities from 25 which is max

Is there any other way to get more parkour experience? As a new player, this is a bit concerning. o.o...

Only doing a mission and random events, but without some basic abilities (which you could get very quickly because you earned lot of xp ) they are harder, I tried new game with this but it is harder then before
Do we know if this change was intentional or perhaps a bug dev's need to look into?

I think that this is bug, because it is not mentioned in list of changes that came with ne patch
I'm a new player and didn't realize this is an issue. I'm going to follow this thread in hopes an official response is given.

Same here. I have no previous point of reference personally, but it definitely feels grindier than it should (Definitely more than Dying Light 1).

Add in the glitches with the random encounters breaking (I.e. not giving rewards when completed or glitching out making it so that the player can't complete them), and you've got quite the mess.

It may be an interaction with normal XP systems, and the new Legendary XP system.
But there are plenty of repeatable time trials, & obstacle courses, as secondary quests. You should still earn decent amounts of agility points, even if you repeat them.

Night time also adds a boost to xp. Try continuous parkour from one side of you map to the other at night. Start up a chase or two. Either sleep or last till daybreak, you should get decent amount of xp.

Do the parkour trials actually grant repeatable XP or is it just the XP you get from doing the different techniques during the trial?

I think it's repeatable, provided you havent already hit the platinum record. Will double check & confirm.
[Edit] Yeah my bad, you only get the xp from the different techniques if you've hit that record before.

Yea, without repeatable trials then, this seems like its an unintentional grind to get parkour points.
Was combat experience also changed? Or just parkour?
