DLSS and Frame Gen stutter fix
With DLSS and frame gen enabled i get major stutter even with high fps, I found going into advanced options and turning render scale to 300% gets rid of stutter with no loss to FPS but with the added gain of better draw distance.

Let me know if it helps.
(Using RTX 4090)

So, the Frame Generation option doesn't show up for me.
Are there any other requirements than an RTX 40 series GPU and the 528.24 drivers?
The whole option is completely missing from my settings menu :|

Have you got Hardware-Accelerated GPU scheduling in windows turned on? it's required for frame gen.

Many thanks for that tip! It was actually turned off for some reason. I turned it on and Frame Generation is now available :)

I'm pretty sure the reason setting render scale to 300% works is that because it causes your fps to drop below your monitors refresh rate. When using DLSS 3 with a 100hz refresh rate I have huge stuttering issues but when I put it to 165hz, my fps sits below the max refresh rate and everything runs perfectly.

The issue is with DLSS 3 pushing fps above refresh rate which is what nvidia reflex is supposed to fix.

I have exactly the same problem in cyberpunk, no idea how to fix it

i did the same, that caps the frame rate but i do have stutter in night going to train stations, RTX 4090 here also

i was running the game super smooth before this patch, now the stuttering doesn't go away even with FG off :/

it's on by default in W11 and that won't help you get rid of the stutter, for that reason Cyberpunk was in test for many months before they release it with DLSS 3 and FG

I set my max FPS via Nvidia control panel a few under my screens refresh rate 4k@144 so 141 max. G-Sync enabled.

was already at render scale to 300% and tryed capping frame rate below my monitor refresh rate. Its smooth sometimes, but still stutter at some location.
On the toher hand, DLSS 2 quality is butter smooth.

I know you're supposed to do this when you're not using DLSS 3 but I've tried it anyway with the same issue persisting

V-Sync enabled in control panel and off in all games.
