Not really. There's a boomstick that fires a couple of shots before being thrown away but it's not that good.

All you need is the semi-auto crossbow which is almost like a firearm because of its insane damage and accuracy.

They strongly hinted at it with their anniversary video about whats coming later this year. They also probably doing it to compete with Dead island 2

You clearly don't know anything about DL2 modding. You can technically mod a Beretta into the game, but thats it. There is no point anyways as we are getting them DLC2. I don't understand why people think its gonna be the end of the world because of guns.

Lore-wise, it's explained that the factories where you could find ammo ran dry. There won't be anymore guns, because there's no more ammunition. They're just glorified paperweights now. Besides, bows and crossbows, with their myriad of projectile types, are more than enough.

Yeah but how are there millions of melee weapons being produced now? Like do they have a factory that makes melee weapons or something? And what about grenades? If they removed all that ♥♥♥♥, I'd be ok with the change

Bruh. You literally can't because there are no rifle models or shotgun models or anything but the beretta model in the game. Well ok theres the scrap shotgun model, but not like a real shotgun model.

I mean these melee weapons are all makeshift. Using odds and ends that are lying around. Sure the DIY nades are a little much, but if they took out ALL weapons, you'd have no way to defend yourself and it'd be a pretty empty gaming experience.

never say never. They added boomstick. They may add guns but may be exceptionally rare and hard to come by. Maybe next story expansion introduces guns as a prequel to the main story. Lore wise, no guns which is good since guns are op in dl 1 if you think about it. With bows and crossbows being in the game, they do cost mutagens to make
