I hate Aiden

Aiden is a rude ***hole. Everything he says is either sarcastic, rude or just plain mean. Why should I care, at all, about if he lives or dies? Answer: I don't.

What the hell is with how he runs? Feels like I'm underwater. Is a snails crawl really the best the devs could do? Makes the game feel sluggish and the parkour boring. Getting constantly grabbed to listen to him struggle and whine like a b**** gets old after the first time you get grabbed. In nearly every cutscene he's getting his *** kicked by some chump. Take 3 swings or hit once and he can barely swing his weapon.

The list goes on. It's pathetic. I hope there is never a Dying Light 3.

I don't like him much either, not so much the personality but some of his controls are a bit messed up. And he should learn to block zombies who jump at him, but never does.

Obviously his stamina is more realistic than just about any game.
But he is so damned dumb. I throw in an explosive among enemies to detonate but the player can't choose what to do. I have a chance to blow up them all at once but Aiden the complete moron decides it's time to look through some trash instead.
And then a zombie arrives which makes him throw the zombie away At that time the enemies approach and Aiden is killed basically at an instant.
He is so damn dumb. Ridiculously dumb.

Same with not figuring out that now it's time to stomp on some heads to stay alive, the idiot instead starts to loot the corpses.
Aiden is so damned dumb. El stupidity maximum.

But all of these things can be adjusted with patches.
Don't let me the player have to use F for damned eveyrthing. Use your heads and let me as a player decide.

The guy I had a problem with is in the first game. the guy actually destroyed a crate of perfectly good anti-viral on some losers say so. didnt even just..... say...hide it. he actually destroyed it in a zombie Apocalypse. not only was that a bad character it was hack writing. I mean the silliness, who would follow that order?

At this point he doesn't know how messed up the leadership is, and most people are conformists, he'd likely face death penalty for not following orders at this point.

Aiden also kills a lot of people just to get to his sister, he has far more selfish interests.

The worst part is when you're talking with the npc and you get an option to turn them down and say nope, not doing it, the npc says a few lines and then aiden goes full dumbass and agrees to do it anyway.
Never mind what your choice was, and even after they just kicked him in the balls for the 2nd time lol.

If you know his tendency to stand over and loot stuff like a silly person, how come YOU the super smart swifty gamer guru that you are refused to take that into your play-style account? Just blast everything from a distance. USE the robots like-wise stupidity against them...you KNOW some of them are barely smarter than bricks. I am doing my hard & hard+ playthrough now! So far I have decided I can only USE weapons my level or lower, thus preventing CoOp joiners from making me OP before the game allows for it! I am wondering what to do about expendables though, like last playthrough some people loaded me up with 99 groups of items. They were obviously super rich, etc. So what do I DO about those kinds of expendables I wonder. I think I will take it down to 25....anything over 25 gets reduced to 25 is the rule! Again that way people giving away mounds of loot will avoid spoiling my playthroughs. Yet I still get to also BENEFIT from their generosity some :)
