Dying Light 2 or God Of War?

[RTX 5080 FE(Mr Happy)]

Debating on this or GOW and get this in the fall. Only got the funds for 1 or the other atm.

Both look great, just hoping to hear what owners of both think.

Easily GoW. I dont have dl 2 yet because I wait for it being 10 euro cheap.. for the game it is.. it's the perfect price. In times where there are pretty good youtubers showing the game.. no need to rush into it when you know it's not as good as dl 1 by watching the footage.

GoW on the other hand is a finished, polished, good product with slightly to much asset flipping and lazy boss design/copy paste.. but it's pretty much the only real downside of the game. While DL 2 has to many to even type in here right now.

Well seeing as everybody is saying gow on the dl2 forum, I am going to snag that and pick this up during the Halloween sale, if on sale. Thx again all!

definetly gow but gow have max 20 30 hours game time. Techland promises 5 year take caring game and coming dlcs. if u looking little bit future buy dl2, game have problems but not to important

By that logic I'd rather get GOW now, as it is already fully finished, and wait a bit for DL2 to get maybe at least the first expansion, it's going to be on an even bigger discount by then.

By the way, my vote is towards God of War as well.

I like it how despite this being a Dying Light 2 forum, people here are saying to go for God of War. That's sad, though they aren't wrong.

God of War is way better imo, but they're also 2 completely different types of games. If you choose Dying Light 2, be ready to deal with a lot of bugs that still haven't been fixed.

God of War without a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doubt. Dying Light 2 is ok, but not as good as 1.

I dont like games like GoW... if you a fan of open world games with sandbox elements and zombies, you should pick DL2... you cant even compare those 2 games though..

with that being said, DL2 has a lot of problems and is a downgrade in all those topics in which it was beloved for...

The real answer is buy GoW and Dying Light 1 either on sale or off a key website like G2A. I got Dying Light 1 with all DLC off G2A for $7.

edit: rofl steam blocks the sites name like a swear word (*G'2*A).

Still waiting for fast travel bug that make impossible to finish the game, it's at least one month I reported it (people reported it before), and still waiting without any answer.

It means, impossible to finish a boutht game!!!

GOW, never encountered glitches or bugs, unlike DL2
