it might. though they have been doing a lot of events for DL1 of recent (probably for the release of DL2 so if it is delayed itd be kinda awkward. also they having been working on the game for more than 5 years so with the amount of detail they have released as well as the multiple trailers and gameplay id say no delay personally

The last of us 2 got delayed weeks after they announced release date
also that game has been worked on for years, so I would say there is quite a chance

No, I think devs learned that putting a game to steam you release it on steam also they are a big company they are probably releasing on both places like cyberpunk

I worry they're doing all these DL1 events as a way to say "hey guys, sorry but we're delaying DL2, but it's ok since we gave you all these DL1 events, bye byeee"

gamers be so negative :p Im subscribed to quite a few chats at the moment and so many people are so focused on why bad things will happen instead of just being excited for the game. like why peeps gotta be such a bummer

Damn talk about a short temper lol all I'm saying is wether or not the game gets delayed I'm still really excited for it. So many people expect to have things exactly how they want them it's a bit spoiled. I think the devs deserve a chance at least. Sure I see the concern but that doesn't call for name calling and rash behavior either to me or techland :)

Could go either way. It's a complicated project, and they are without a doubt facing problems unheard of in development of the first game. Then again, they have been solving them for a long time already.

I would say 60/40 chance, the former saying no delay. This is based on all the heat on DL1s activity of late. Calling a delay now would not be great press.

Nobody can say the developers did not do enough for the game after its release.
Some games don't even get proper patches to fix longstanding issues while techland keeps making free stuff and putting in small events.

And you say you 'fear' that a GAME might come out a little later than anticipated..? I imagine some other things you fear is your phone battery dying, or not getting enough likes on social media etc.
