The First Person Perspective is in Dying Light's DNA, It's an FPP game and we wouldn't have it any other way.

There's going to be a lot involved in turning a first-person game like this into a third-person one so I can understand why they would not want to bother. You can't just move the camera and that's it, there's animation, controls and even level design to consider among other things (a third-person camera might not work so well in the game's more confined areas, for example).

Why not, i mean i play also FPP, but give the people the choice, to play how they want is the best way, it would only be an enrichment and not a lack.

Just go and download a sh‌i‌t‌ty 3rd person mod after the game came out. Dying Light is a 1st person game, why would waste time on adapting the mechanics and controls to 3rd person and delay the game a year more when they can use that time to polish the game more and work on the things that matter more?

I mean, this is a Techland game. They never made a game in 3rd person mode, as far I know.

i dont think you realise how much work that would be, there where mods allowing 3rd person in the first game and they show a simple character perspective switch has massive consequences on the game as many cutseens where not animated for that and would need to be re done entirly for 3rd person, thats why in gta 5 on pc all cutseens switch to to 3rd like in the original xbox360 era version of the game as they would otherwise have to redo them all entirely
