It matters since denuvo affects performance quite significantly. If you have relatively weak pc this could matter a lot.

Just googled for it and found an article with a benchmark chart, depending on the game loading times were doubled and fps halved while some other games had nearly identical fps. -> varies a lot

Doesn't matter, if it's noticeable or not. The fact that a pirated version runs better than an original Denuvo version is pretty sad in itself and a slap in the face for buying customers, since Denuvo is cracked anyway a few days after release. All it does is supporting piracy, but studios who use it don't get it.

And some people have never pirated a game and own quite a few games that don't have Denuvo. Some people are just not a fan of Denuvo, which is solely anti-consumer and grants zero benefit to the consumer. If you don't care about it, that's fine, but throwing shade at people who do care about it is rather odd and honestly, just misplaced negativity.

Would be nice if someone at Techland could just confirm whether or not this will have Denuvo.

It didn't bother me at all to play games with Denuvo protection on my "old" PC (i7-4790). Take the same Ubisoft and their current games. And at the expense of hacking: that's when they hack, that's when you can remove the protection. (Google translator)

Wrong. I used to buy games with denuvo before but after the resident evil 8 fiasco I try to avoid them as much as possible or wait for performance reviews. But I am sure that if they add denuvo to a game like this with such graphics, it will probably affect the performance and I am tired of buying games with performance problems. So this is why i want to know if it has denuvo

I hope so.
Denuvo makes pirates cry.
I love to see salty pirates cry.
It makes me happy to have a job and have a vague understanding on how capitalism works.

a company paying for an antipiracy program is an ABSURDITY as pirates ALWAYS find a way around, even if in some few cases, it can take time.

IMO, companies should just invest all their money on making the game and NOT A CENT to any antipiracy stuff as it's just throwing money out the windows as i'd say but it's only my opinion.

Exactly this.

Denovo, like all anti pirate software gets cracked within days of release.

Develooers and studios need to focus thier efforts on making games that are worth buying at full price.

Thanks God and Techland, no! Otherwise I would cancel my preorder of Ultimate Edition and don’t buy the game until this piece of …(bad word)… is removed from the game.
