Will this game have a in game purchases Store?
Just asking the devs mostly as they seem transparent. The 2 hour night exp bonus for buying ultimate has me worried.

The 2 hour bonus won't help anyone all that much, and this game isn't multiplayer focused and won't be on release so unless you're addicted to spending money I don't see a problem?

Seeing this post, I was curious myself. So I did a bit googling and these are the best I could find. There may be microtransactions in the game. Now whether they'll be in at launch, or afterwards, I'm unsure.

That is a bit of a worry. I do not see any in ap purchases warning on steam.

Microtransactions are fine, predatory microtransactions are not - I would hope it has none of the latter.

Microtransactions are wrong. We already buy the product, hiding content behind paywall is illegal and immoral.

AFAIK we have this rating because you'll be able to purchase DLC straight from the game menu, like in DL1

I don't see where it is illegal (though perhaps it is in some countries?) or how it is immoral really. If Techland were promising us content with the base game then asking for an additional purchase to unlock it then sure but I don't think that is the case. The content locked behind a paywall is often included with a game even if you haven't purchased it for multiplayer reasons though I don't think that's always the case but whether it's on their drive or yours what difference does it make?

Loot boxes and other microtransactions that net the player mostly or entirely trash items with only a minuscule chance of getting anything worthwhile are where things get shady.

Ok awesome, I was wondering if it was gonna be like that again. Thanks for clearing it up Uncy :)

Btw I am not buying this game if it has an ingame shop lol. Techland can create a shop outside of game as seperate dlcs. I am dead serious, no matter how ground breaking the game is. If you add a shop ingame you can go ♥♥♥♥ off.

I hope the boost or the crafting equipment is just a one-time thing from just the edition and *poof* no more as micro-transactions and such as that. If they want to do DLC costumes and the same thing like Dying Light 1 with a mix of free content to balance it out then that's fine.

So there is no cash shop or micro-transactions limiting game play?
