Can't fast travel to Downtown?

Just unlocked downtown area, claimed a few safezones and then travelled back to starting area to finish sidequests and now there's no fast travel button back to Downtown? I'm assuming once you unlock Downtown the first metro station/fast travel point is already unlocked? Is this a glitch of some sort and is there a way to get back to Downtown without the fast travel?

i have same problem every time i stop playing. it disapear the fast travel to downtown.when you finish play let him be ther.so when you start againg.it wil say you found downtown arear

Figured out a fix. Die and choose respawn from last story point or whatever it is. Takes you right to the fish eye/city

common problem that was warned about shortly after release...
metros dissaper so unlock the first metro that you actively have to unlock in teh city so you can travel back
with glider you can get close enough back to the city to respawn there or just die and W respawn from last story checkpoint
