Crashing on loading screen

Had Dying LIght 2 since day of release and just a few days ago (The 16th) my game kept crashing when I tried loading my save file, I haven't even finished the story and I'm starting to get worried. It still crashes even after the patch.
I use a GTX 1050 and it runs FINE, It just recently started crashing even before I could see the picture on the loading screen. What do I do??

Just ran a test from steam, 1 file failed and it's probably my save file, but it doesn't tell me.
I'm confused.

So basically at least 5-8 seconds after it starts loading my save file, the music glitches out, stops, and my screen goes black, and like 1 second later my game closes.

I'm starting to get worried because if my file got corrupted, I have to restart the whole story! Plus I was SO near the end of the game.

So many comments I'm posting rn, but you need info right? So this also started happening the day they did the new parkour challenges, but I don't see any reason why that would crash my save file? Do you?

I totally forgot about this comment, so i'm having exactly the same problem, but when i play on another computer it works, so maybe it's pc related

Try this got my game to load!!!!!! If your game crashes to desktop at startup after the Dying Light 2 splash screen, this fixed it for me:
Go to common\Dying Light 2\ph\work\bin\x64 and delete the file runtime_dx11.dll
