C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\My Games\DyingLight2\Saved\SaveGames\
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Saved Games\
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\My Games
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\DyingLight2\Saved\
Do you have the first Dying Light?
and,Probably the place where the data is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\dying light 2\out\-save_backups
There should be file .bak
If there is - then navigate to
your Steam folder\userdata\[Your steam id]\534380\remote\out\save
Backup the save_main_0 (simply copy it to somewhere else in case you want it back)
Now delete it from save folder and copy paste the one from documents\(...)\-save_backups
remove the .bak extension so it will be .sav extension
rename the file to be the same as previous one - probably save_main_0
so the final format should be save_main_0.sav
in my case it restored my save :) hope someone might find it helpful
