Lockpicks of different levels

How does it work? I have 91 lockpicks of level 5 and 87 of level 6. But the game counts them together in the pause menu (178). Does the game use the higher level first and then the lower levels?

the ones you craft first are used first me thinks...you need to sell the lower ones

How do you have so much lockpicks? I have just 6 level 2 lockpicks, and I think they'll be enough to all my adventure. You should sell all but, max, 10.

Lockpick in this game is on another level compared to DL1, if you upgrade max lvl lockpick, you don't need to spend time on unlocking it instead just press R to any door locked or hold down R on any chest except very hard lock chest. But it takes quite a lot of lock pick, that's why I always have 99 in my inventory

Nah, I do what I want. Do you really spend your days going around the forums obliquely bragging about your lockpicking abilities? That's... sad, man

No, it's just my 1st day in DL2 forums, and just saying a fact: my lockpicking skills (ingame) are pretty good. I still didn't find any very hard lock, but I can handle hard locks with just 1 lockpick. 2 if I'm distracted enough to break first.
