Report a translation problem
After I play for a while, can be 1 hour, 2 hours or whatever amount, my game starts lagging like crazy.
I have to restart the game to fix it :S My temps are fine, so seems to be game related.
After trying everything i could think of and updating every driver i could nothing seemed to stop this random bug.
That was until i suddenly twigged. So the moment it happened, it suddenly dawned on me as i alt-tabbed to my desktop. A crazy 4k @ 60fps 8x AAA animated background was going wild in the background.
I paused it properly and alt tabbed back to my Dying Light 2 game which was instantly fixed.....went back to 72 fps.
all by ensuring Wallpaper engine is paused. I guess if you don't run WallPaper engine what you need to do is look at what else could be using your GPU. Look at task manager and sort by GPU utilisation to see what else is running when your FPS tank.
