Any strats for farming feathers?

Any way to pin down/mark/track the location of those areas that contain bees, herbs, resin, mushrooms, and ***FEATHERS***. I don't lknow why such a common thing has been made so difficult to collect (Difficult as in very tedious work to get 1-3 at a time).

I don't fully rely on the crossbow but it certainly does make the process of farming up infected trophies much easier, every night im going through about 40-50 bolts and i'm getting to the point a lot of my upgrades are taking up a lot more uncommon trophies, so i need more bolts but I never have enough feathers XD
