Game Keeps Crashing
For some reason, every 10ish minutes the game will crash with no error message or anything. I checked the windows event viewer and what I found is

Faulting module name: rd3d12_x64_rwdi.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x620a9d12.

Anyone else having this issue?

I posted this in another thread, but try doing a few quick basic things like updating your chipset driver if you haven't done it in a while along with the BIOS. If you are installing current Windows updates and drivers on ancient BIOS/Chipset combos that could cause some problems down the line.

After ruling that out, install MSI Afterburner and set up the on screen display to show you some stats like power usage from GPU/CPU, memory usage from GPU, temps, etc. and you can setup a histogram/graph that will show you if you are getting weird power spikes or something like this that could be causing the crashes.

Also, what PSU are you using and is your RAM or GPU overclocked?

Playing this game using dx12 for me the game starts at using 11gb+ video memory. After a couple hours it's at ~14-15gb. Edit: Maybe try lowering some settings to medium-ish just to see if it runs correctly. I'm using a 6800xt and thankfully it handles just fine.

Been having this exact same issue since day one, did a fresh install of windows, flashed my BIOS, re-seated memory and gpu to no avail. Only thing that ever shows up is the error in Windows Event Viewer

Ryzen 5 5600x
RTX 2080 super
32gb of Ram
Windows 10

I found out that for some reason. enabling XMP/OC'ing my RAM was causing this issue. Try turning XMP off in your bios OR re flash your bios and keep all settings stock.

I just wanted to be another voice here to say I'm experiencing this issue as well. It doesn't matter how low I turn the settings down, and I didn't have this issue before the latest patch. It seems directly related to the patch.

turning off xmp/ reflashing the bios and keeping it at stock settings is the only thing that worked for me. Try it out if you haven't yet.
