I hope they add a harder difficulty of balance it to be harder in a future update or something. at the moment I just play on hard for the sake of it. its honestly not all that different from normal and the differences are minor.
Playing hard mode on DL2 you die a lot, but it is not punished.
Anyway for the first run I think hard mode is right, but the second one requires Survival mode.
unless they add prestige (like in dl1 ) ,whoever is maxed wont get any punishement from a survival mode...
I mean the game needs some change in the line of survival mode of DL1, but it need not be exactly the same thing.
Also there was no achievement for completing on hard.
DL1 has OP movements too.
DL1 has more but weak zombies, that is all.
DL2 big matter is the bug at night with screamers zombies, because if it works right, to survive at night is really hard unless you decide going to the roofs, just as DL1, is you walk on the roofs you avoid all difficulty.
I have not finished DL2, but I remenber DL1´s last half part game was really easy.
Most of open worlds has the same problem, it is only hard if you invente your ownhard way.
But ye hard mode rn quickly learning but not terrible, just got the game this year.
