Night/Day Rotation no longer working

Not sure exactly when this started (maybe last update), but the night/day rotation no longer works. Clock is stuck at 1930 in the night and I am unable to sleep to rotate to the day - I get an screen warning saying "unable to sleep at this time" (or something to that effect)

I was previously stuck in the daytime with the clock stuck at 1900 and was able to sleep, which allowed me to rotate between day and night, but since the most recent update, this is no longer the case. The night would continue, so my immunity bar would show and count down but the actual night wouldn't happen, it would stay as broad daylight.

I know I can join someone who is already in the day period but this isn't always possible.

Would like this to be fixed or at least a solution to the problem.

are you on a side night quest by chance? that may lock you into night until completed. just a guess

I did have one which I handed in, will check later. I thought that might be the case so checked my journal but i believe it was completed.

If you have the bug try redoing Double time and then see if you can sleep.

Maybe there are other quests making it bug the day/night cycle out.. this game man..

I also tried to use my brothers daytime and left the instance, didn't work. Unless I'm playing with someone who doesn't have this issue, I'm perma stuck in nighttime.

Have you tried using a time changing mod on nexus?

This issues is know you have to quick join a few games and drop out when you find the right server it will unlock the clock. Normally this is triggered by not finishing a quest that has an effect on time when you finish it.

I've thought the same but I don't have any that indicate they need completing or have been partially completed with a nighttime element to it.

For those having the same issue I have described in my OP, the issue was due to the fact (spoiler) you have chased the van to the garage to start the epilogue. Once the epilogue was completed, the day/night rotation returned.

The problem was this wasn't explained and there was no hint it was the cause.

glad you got it working it happens to me when I join a co op server on missions like waltz is known to cause this issue as well.
