Level scaling
Dear devs, please add an option to enable or disable level scaling.

I finished the game and got the play the aftermath when levels scale to the player, I wish i could continue bashing and exploding zombies in low level areas.

After everything in the final boss and all those "inhibitors" we should be able to enjoy making zombie salads, especially on easy difficulty.

In my opinion, all zombies, locations, weapon and armor - everything should be match with player's level.

when you get the warning about finishing all your business before proceeding with the main story quest, you need to stop there.

I wish the game had several game saves to pick from instead of those damn check points and autosaves.

Check out nexusmods, iirc there is a mod that disables the level scaling.

Man I usually like level scaling but in this game its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, youre just fighting STRONGER ENEMIES yet youre not getting STRONGER REWARDS, why on earth would I want to fight enemies now that their health is inflated fivefold when they dont even drop better stuff? It's a waste of durability on the weapon, a waste of time for fighting them and usually a waste of resources for when you need to heal afterwards. What's even more dumb is that loot higher than lvl 6 doesnt seem to drop, so enemies get stronger, my LEVEL gets higher, yet I cannot get stronger. Awfully designed.

You can get higher, it's the military convoys and the new world events where renegades protect a hard container. I have gotten yellow a level higher outta those events before.
Also I believe from YouTube watching, there are challenges that appear with demolishers protecting a lot drop that gives level 9 after winning.

I haven't seen one in person myself yet, but in videos people talk about them.

Yes, especially on easy difficulty. I hope they consider this. I spent the game looting and killing for those upgrades, my character does ridiculous things in the end of the game and then you go back struggling against a couple of cadavers lol.

in truth this huge thing is one big way i feel runs the hole game in what the did. always hated how they added levels and then classes of a same item or weapon. they far to over comp something when it should be just better gear and weapons high u get and have NPCS keep level with u to a point by area...

Oh nice, I didn't know there was a warning beforehand!
i really wish u had a save system u could save at ur bed and or before and after a mission while enabling a many savee slot system.

In my opinion this made the first game trash and would have made the 2nd game also a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience. Cause it makes zero sense that the same zombie you decapitated just 2 hours before now is resistant enough to make your weapon dull before he goes down which is stupid. They should implement a higher diversity for zombies and monsters, if they want to have stronger enemies in this manner. Otherwise you whole leveling makes no sense and that's exactly the feeling I got in DL1 and made me really dislike the game after the first half was over. It made absolute no sense that normal zombies were killed with a accurate hack with a good knife in the first hours and miraculously getting metal plates in their heads which make them irreasonably more tanky...
