finally got the korek charm, but i'm still curious
if you somehow lose the charm, will it be possible to get another one? I'm looking around my blueprints and I don't see a recipe anywhere, so I'm just curious.

say I'm an idiot who left it on a weapon and forgot to take it off before it broke. I don't think I would ever let that happen, unless I wanted to sport it around town, but I think that's the only way to lose it. I never used charms before, so I don't know how they function ^^

what do you mean take it off? it's infinite use

The Korek charm can be applied to the same weapon, or different weapons infinitely. No worries about losing it or losing it up.
Kain Feb 17, 2022 @ 10:29pm
You never lose charms, ever. Use Korek, then replace it, then use against as much as you want. You don't have a set amount of charms, once you unlock it, it's yours.

just dont let your weapon break or it will be forever gone
Baron01 Feb 17, 2022 @ 11:35pm
Korek is broken and should not be in the game in first place. It break weapon mod economy as it completely invalidates grip durability mod and does not have any opportunity costs. There is absolutely no reason not to use damage mod on your grip when Korek exists.

Techland need to either significantly buff durability mod to offer higher durability reduction (from 50% to 75 or even 90%) and add some damage buff to it as well. Korek should be phased out of existence or at least change to be applicable only once to same weapon rather than infinitely.

I like it the way it is ^^ don't use it if you don't like it.

there is no such thing as weapon durability economy in single player game. without korek, people alr have mod to get infinity durability anyway.

There is mod economy--you can chose from at least two grip mods but one is made completely obsolete by Korek.
Also, there is no infinite durability mod. Durability mod in the game has incorrect description as it states it provide 100% reduction to durability hits but in fact it is only around 50%. Weapon with durability mod are still getting damage by attacking and will eventually break with the mod.

it's not mod economy, what the hell you talking about? it's mod slots to repair durability. And when i mean infinity durability mod, i mean as the "game mod" not "weapon mod". It's what people call cheesing the game and it's legit in single player game

this and the charm isn't exactly the easiest nor fastest thing to achieve. you have to progress fairly far in the story to get it and you have to take a certain route in one of the buildings near the tower to get to it. in order to abuse this infinite durability charm as much as you like, you'd have to put in a lot of work first unless you're just speed running the game.
