My love/hate relationship for feathers
Arguably the best weapon in the game and should honestly should be available in more variety around the world. Requires feathers for ammo like ants to sugar. So far I'm not done with the story, casually taking my time; almost 60h wandering around and doing side quests at rank 7.

Infinite durability and damage levels up with you. So nice, but the feathers.

The feathers.

There needs to be a way to add notes on the map, so I can make my own legend marker just for birdhouses.

What would also be neat is if that it's tied in with the bird watching quest lines? Maybe? Like a secret map for birdwatchers only. And that by doing said quest line gets me more knowledge in how to better safely harvest birdhouses, populate the city with more birds to find more nests, etc. etc.

I think that would be neat.

Or just sell them in 100 stacks like I see Oxidizers and Cleaning Supplies randomly throughout the city vendors. I think the first option would be cooler though. Keeps in tune with the worlds immersion, etc. But Maybe because the world is full +PK lore in my first run, cleaning supplies and oxidizers are more readily available ? Hmm, I should complete the story more. :)

Ok thanks for letting me rant.

Every so often I will do a run to all the traders/craftmasters and buy up their crafting materials.

Money is pretty easy to come by and most of the materials are dirt cheap. You'll never run out.

Though definitely agree with being able to leave markers. Or at least have it so the map shows where all traders and rooftop gardens are at.

Agree with the map markers. I would love that.
As Snougar said, buying up all the crafting materials is cheap and easy. If you loot and sell a lot, and don't buy every weapon, money is plentiful. I've been buying all craft supplies and putting extra in my stash.
For the rooftop gardens, look for the tall yellow trees. They are easy to spot when you know what to look for, and those trees are only around that type of garden as far as I know.

almost every beehive hut has a birdhouse and contains 1-2 feathers. if you avoid paragliing and just rooftop run you should find them constantlyESPECIALLY in old villadore. casually looting while doing side quests (havent done story yet) I have like 100 feathers and 100+ arrows and I use the bow all the time.

I think they are easier than people give credit for.

the little red birdhouses is how I get the majority of my feathers. but I heard the crossbow FLIES throw bolts real fast so I can see that draining the ammo supply. otherwise I dont think its hard to get feathers, I think its perfectly balanced

but I do agree. let us place markers on the map AND let us keep are legend settings saved, I hate my legend refilling all the icons everytime I reload the game. I turn them off for a reason why are you turning them back on? lmao

I think its a fair trade off, the bow makes the game really easy even on hard. Just like I think it was really smart of them to not add in guns, they made the first game trivial.

beehives are already marked on the map if you just Look. Yellow trees mark them, scan with your binos find yellow trees and a beehive is there

I only have so much time to play and I like to play with my best gear, and it just so happens my best gear is a particular crossbow this play through. Being punished, even if not intentional, in having to grind out feathers is kind ruining the immersion a little. Also it seems like there's zero difference in amount of feathers gained in either hard or easy mode. So why waste my time?

For a game I like to spend my limited free time playing, punishing me for playing the way I enjoy makes me have to consider other games to better utilize my time.

Just my opinion. <3

Just watched that video, amazing I never noticed that detail about the trees. Now I need to go exploring again with new found info.

I also didn't know you could place waymarks with your binos. Interesting.

Thanks!
