yes playing on hard means things are harder

The fact that on hard you can't sell everything and the prices you get are so low is really poor game design.

They should just make things cost more on hard and that would balance it up, seems fairly simple, let you sell everything, let them buy stuff off you for an ok price (less than medium/easy of course), but buying weapons/mods and especially raw materials should be a fair bit more, maybe even 50% more expensive than medium and 100% more than easy for example).

The current system where you're forced to have an inventory full of crap and having to repeatedly spend time to drop/stash/switch to easy to sell is just such annoyingly bad game design!

i mean, you can just switch the game to easy when shopping and then switch back to hard for combat

To be honest Dying Light 2 is pretty easy or even casual friendly game even on Hard difficulty.

You can, but it's poor game design to force this on you. I don't think I've ever played a game where the highest difficulty stops you from being able to sell items and that's in 40 years of being a gamer.

I like that game is hard on HARD mode but i think its unfair that u get less fo bigger effort. On easy u can beat end game infected buy hiting them 1-2 times and they drop moore loot and better gear, but on Hard u need to fight and earn it becouse it spawn less, but it doesnt mean that it should cost less.Basically u work harded to get paid less and its unfair.Thats the point.

bc it encourages players to do some night quest. like in apocalypse hell, mats is just that rare so the high exchange fee. So yeah, just do workaround to get benefit from markets. hard mode is bc you need to grind and min max build

You guys are selling stuff?

I play on hard since day one, and hard is too easy anyway, there is no problem with weapons or nothing else once you get the specific charm and farm virals at night. This game is so much of an rpg and some more of a "realism" mod would be a banger. Hoping for a new nightrunner difficulty that makes this game something like Hardcore Ranger made the Metro.

No point of visiting dark zones on hard aswell because resources are just enough in the world itself.
What is a purpose of having so much money anywway in here when you can just farm gold stuff by running around the city.

i wished that the game is more harder too,but at the end when u need to upgrade blueprints the grind is too much. The new Game + would fixed the problem.

I feel you. I wish hard focused more on combat - smart AI that could kill at will or sneak up on you. Instead the devs went with the generic damage sponges early on combined with stunted progression beyond any sense of immersion. They took the easy way out, don't let the tryhard neckbeards tell you otherwise

Really? Because making things more expensive and/or you get less money for your purchases is a pretty common trait of harder difficulties in game.
