Dash perk is useless
Dash perk is absolutely useless, Run for as long as your and i quote stamina lasts they do know what that means right ?, i have 420 stamina and this anorexic smoker runs for mabye about a full bar if even that, its just a marginally better dart, why is the perk description so misleading.

I’ve noticed that no matter how much stamina you have you’ll immediately lose half of it for some god awful reason as soon as you push the button. Or at least if not half then too much anyways for as soon as Aiden the Asthmatic pushes his little legs past standard operating procedure it’s an immediate fatigue.

Granted the speed bonus gives you an ok amount of distance if you jump but yes it’s still utterly useless

Wow how useful, excepting that you'll have to put yourself in those situations and that its still a waste of perk points until you buy all 3 perks. Not even mentioning the fact that you could just do literally anything else and avoid the infected.

actually is a really nice perk to combo with far jump, and u can literally jump imposible gaps.
The half consume stamina is for the inicial sprint.
To tell u the true since i unlock it i been using it all the time, isnt like the dude walk all the time he is runnig all the time, so yeah i guess they design the perk as a spritn jump combo to jump bigger gaps.

To be fair, most of the upgrades are just marginal improvements. The entire tech tree is one giant disappointment. (Especially since at no point do I regain the ability to throw my weapons willy-nilly like in DL1. Seriously, where'd the fun go?)

Just max stamina and upgrade grapple hook 1 point :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

Now just spam the button of your choice for instance mouse 3 and fly around the map like in dl 1 :steamhappy:

So except for antenas parcour is useless again :)

Edit: You need to get all perks anyway as you gain 1 global level every 6 perks, max global is 9 atm with gear and stats

No such thing as a "waste of points" when you can get all of the perks and don't have to pick and choose.

Sure, you may end up picking a less useful perk than another one and have to wait for a level up to get another, but you can get all of the perks eventually.

That comes in the five year support plan lol.

And it's too useless for me to use, anecdotes don't get anyone anywhere and realism and techland don't mix.

If you can unlock everything, it's not a waste. It's like saying picking up a collectible is a "waste" when you can pick up all of the collectibles in the game.

Mobile gamer moment, if it takes time and you don't get all perks quickly, it is actively a waste to buy such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ perk and it's offshoots for no reason until you have everything else lol.

you are not eggscellent, + low tier + you stink + no hat.

such a dump post dagoth. whats wrong with you?

and it not waste, games are made for passing time with, at best in a intresting way.
It seens you miss the hole concept of gaming.

I dont see why you are so upset about a skill, by the end of the game you'll have most if not all skills unlocked
Amogus Feb 17, 2022 @ 10:57am
Even more hilarious is that you need dart in order to unlock enemy jump, which is a very useful skill for getting a REALLY high jump boost to get up onto buildings and such.

Sure, the upgraded dart is broken because it doesn't let you dart for as long as you have stamina, but it is NOT in any way useless. That minor speed boost you get from jumping can be a game changer in the types of jumps you can make, and I've actually found that some parkour challenges practically require you to have the dart skill to complete it within the time limit (the nightrunner's journal challenge being one of them).

mostly made this post because i was malding over the fact that the dash was so slow so i wasnt getting gold in a nightrunner challenge.
Geist Feb 18, 2022 @ 8:52pm
It's pretty useful for me. Especially if I need to make a far jump or escape from enemies. Even those skills where you press shift after certain parkour actions is helpful.
