LOL
here are the steps to follow:
1. launch big picture mode
2. go to controller settings (gear icon)
3. check playstation configuration support
4. back out to main menu (circle) and go to library
5. click on dying light 2
6. select manage game
7. select controller options
8. make sure steam input per-game settings says "Global Setting (PS) even if it does select it and click OK on button on bottom
9. back out to main menu and go to controller settings (gear icon) select controller settings and uncheck playstation configuration support
10. go back to library and launch Dying light 2
11. this should be it and icons should now be showing playstation icons, and dual sense features working.
a detail, this goes for other games.
I bought DL2 on Steam a week ago. I play it with a PS5 controller. But adaptive triggers and vibration don't work. Is it the same for you at the moment?
