SOD 2 better
Hello,

No troll here, may be a little bit exaggerated, but.... State of Decay 2, if we stay in zombie games, gives me more satifaction and more gameplay.... Real fear and accomplissement. Yes DL is not the same kind of game (SOD has management etc). Sandbox vs story.

SOD 2 (or RE2, TWD, F76?) is less beautifull but has lots of original gameplay stuffs far more complete (after lots of update of course) even without rpg, scenario, dialogues, npc quest etc

DL2 is a generic déjà vu game with 16 YO teenagers feeling... Goddman full price.

I'm just sick or there is something with all these new games bother me with no innovation?? Like I'm 36 and this game doesn't touch me anywhere... Need more

really hoping state of decay 3 has a first person option, i know its a 3rd person genre, but it'd be a nice touch

That game has the most boring world to explore i've ever seen.
While yes it has a lot of interesting systems in place.
But the combat and design of the world and how boring it is to explore just made me distance myself from it.

Hope at least the third game changes everything.

Exactly this... But I can't say why because everything is there... May be too much Valhalla, ubi games etc, rpg with "I neeed to run to each places" syndrom.

I played SoD2 years after its release and its AI are so bad compared to 1st, atleast the gameplay and the environment is pretty good.

Since we are on topic of best zombie games, I'd still vouch for Killing Floor 2, W@W/BO1/2 zombie mode, Project Zomboid, Dead Space, Dead Rising, Zombie Gunship, Zombie Highway and Dying Light (and 2 if most things got patched and added)

Okay we can make a list of all zombies games, but this one (DL2) is very empty feeling I don't know why except teenager / cool feeling breaking the ambiance.

Sod2 would have been way better if we had had character customisation, none of the default characters appealed to me so i couldn't get into it.

As zombie games go Dying Light 1 is the best imo.
