PK vs Survivors water tower. HEAVY SPOILERS for this part of the game.

So, I was wondering if I could get some guidance from those who have already played thru this part of the game without any spoilers for the parts afterwards?

In my original playthrough I gave the watertower to the Survivors but then I saw that that psycho ♥♥♥♥♥ Sophie was gonna shut the power off and release all the zombies on the PK's Luckily I had been making random copies of my save games for safety and I had a save right at the watertower assignment.

So I reloaded that and picked PK's, well with Techland genius game design I didn't change anything. The survivors miraculously blew up the wind tower(who did they get to do it? I thought I was the only option did Alberto drag his old ass to the top of the tower?)

I continued the pk line all the way to the 1st generator. I realize it's just a game but upon reflection I realized that I don't really like the PK's and I have a hard spot for a game forcing me to kill Barney when it was obvious he was innocent. So I would like to redo and go Survivor but the only save is back before the windmill destruction.

Just looking for advice, do you think it really matters that much in the end? Is it worth it to go back and replay 4 or 5 hours of the game just to side with the survivors? Or should I just suck it up and deal with my choices?

Honestly both sides do some horrible ♥♥♥♥ to people, so pick who you wanna pick. Survivors give traversal upgrades to the city and PK's give stuff to help kill zombies. Again, go with your preference. I went with Survivors first and will play through a second time with PK's.

How many "towers" you conquered? Did you give all of em to one faction? Cuz im desperately looking for a save file with potentially 6 towers on one faction so I can play from there for the last one and get the achievement lol

Nah, I've only done the water tower and the 1st power plant.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna just play through as PK and then I can start another game right at the water tower and not have to go thru all the prologue stuff. That's the 1st major branch in the game anyway as far as I know.
