were safes originally digital codes
is it just me or are all the safe codes pathetic, you have dials that go all the way from 0-99 and the best they come up with is a basic 3 digit codes like they originally had key pads, where are the codes like 32,58,79 instead we are left with very unrealistic codes like 3,1,3

So far their best is 26 67 66 combination as far as I've search, and it was hidden behind a very simple math that a kid can solve

Yeah its incredibly stupid you have a scale from 0 to 99, but in reality all the Codes utilize only 0 to 9 lol. Thats outrageously idiotic in terms of lore and immersion.

why even have safes when the code for the safes are usually just right next to the safe you don't even need to do a puzzle most the time it's usually just a note with the direct code on it's just completely stupid.

best one Ive found requires actual knowledge of US political history. straight up was the anouncment date of the declaration of the independence was the hint. like who nowadays just casually knows July 4, 1776 (7/4/1776) as the code 74-17-76

which I think is a good code but jeez if we didnt have the internet some peeps would be lost.

they're annoying to use on a mouse

I didn't put that much thought into it. I just entered the code, opened the box and moved on.
