I don't get why...
the game tells us to go to a place at night when the infected are out in the streets the place will be deserted but you go there at night and it's still full of infected...?

Yeah except there are way less and there is less danger while If you go in day you are most likely dead because there are many special infecteds while the night not any most of the time and also they are all pretty much sleeping at night if they are in there so just be stealthy

The key thing isn't that it's not full of infected.

The key thing is that it's not full of volatiles.

Just try and clear a hospital during the day

Yeah, at night the real danger is on the streets and not in those indoor places where your takedown victims sleep :-)

Crossbow goes "brrrrrrt".

Okay, thanks lol. I just thought there would be none in there. I guess it's not much of a game if a mission or dark hollow had no enemies.

i actually did that.. went to the hospital at day where i got my biomarker and everything was empty and i could not enter the darkzone again...

was this a bug or will there be more hospitals later in the game?

IDK if they're hospitals, I didn't pay much attention to the name but they're talking about the GRE facilities.

They mean the GRE darkzone/restricted area facilities. The initial Jacob's hospital is a one time thing and you can't access the interior thereafter (though there's still a jump puzzle on the roof with extra inhibitors, but no enemies).

mhhh sad.. a bit wasted potential :) i noticed that yesterday.. i climbed again on the hospital where all those wooden cabins are to find out at there if there is something special... but there was nothing, not even an enemy...

wish there was something like basebuilding to "builD" your own personal cabin in the world^^

Volatiles completely vanished from this game, after 33 hours i needed to artificially trigger 4th chase level to see one.
And that's what i predicted, it was a bad design choice to trigger special zombies on certain levels, not to mention it's easy to lose the chase even without going into UV zone so i needed to make like three attempts...
Smektala said there is more tension thanks to that in the night time, but i don't feel any tension. Im just running around like a ballerine blasting occasional viral here or there, even the howler is easily killable, before he notices you are coming he's already staggered by one of my hits.

Not to mention it seems like half the howlers are glitched and can't yell or be interacted with.

a lot less, during the day there's like 3 times more
At night, there's only Biters. (Or in most places it's only biters). Slow moving, sluggish, regular zombies. Everything else is out hunting.

At Day, most of them are Virals, sneaking becomes impossible/much harder. And there's Volatiles.

i didnt see a single volatile so far, expect that one from the main story...

volatiles should roam during the nights... so far its way to easy to avoid a chase and if it happens, there is no way that u end up in phase 3 or even 4... there is always a safe zone nearby i mean thats okay, it was like that in DL1 too, but there should be no stages... i can imagine that i will never hit stage 3 or 4 unless i trigger it on a unnatural way...

with that beeing said i dont think that night time gameplay is bad... i love it when sirens go on and zombies crush through windows etc... but i think its a bit tooo easy and the should remove the stage-system... volatiles should roam druing the night and if a chase happens, they should hunt you with all the rivals instantly...
