Twitch Drops

So I watched 3 hours of Dying Light 2 on twitch, checked my inventory and claimed all the 3 rewards... Now I'm in game and I can't find any of my drops in my stash, and restarting the game didn't solve anything...
Any tips ?

I claimed the executioner, the mask, and the other blade. The other ones showed no progress as I watched DL2 on twitch so I just gave up lol

That's unfortunate. I think this Twitch drop event was mismanaged given how so many players are reporting issues and there's no fixes yet.

On the bright side, there are better weapons to use as you progress through the game anyway. The one exception would be the funkadelic bow which for me inflicts 157 damage whereas the best bow in the game has 140 (the nails bow).

I just hope though that Techland fixes this at some point in the near future.

The only ranged weapon I use is the crossbow with almost 1000 damage..
The rest are all melee weapons with an average of 430-460 damage

I finished the game and now the enemies are damage sponges/HP tanks thus right now, I'm trying to get weapons that inflict better damage.

In any case, I think I get what you're saying. The Twitch drops aren't that good anyway after progressing far enough in the game. The bow did help me though but even now, it's barely inflicting enough damage on the special infected.

Please pay attention to the special stats that weapons have (for example: Some weapons tend to deal more damage at night or against humans or give you extra stamina regeneration on a perfect block)

Also keep in mind that the stuff that Aiden wears also impacts your playstyle.

Last but not least, I seriously suggest you equip Fling on weapon tip, spark on shaft.. it's great for farming dark hollows (during day). Stack those trophies up, and well... good luck :)

Right, I've noticed that and I try to use weapons specific for a situation, and the outfits do make a difference. The human enemies aren't that hard to deal with but the zombies are after I beat the game. I was surprised on how tanky the virals became and it takes several hits to kill one with a melee weapon.

For me, I like burn the most as it inflicts constant damage and keeps enemies stunned at the same time but spark is good like you said (and probably better as I have to admit, setting enemies on fire makes it hard to see what's around them). I think I'm trying to max out fling or the mod that pushes back enemies.

I ran across a couple of golden bows with 140 damage.. If I do so again I can join you and drop the bow for you

I just found a bow that deals 357 points of damage. It's called "Yardstick" and I got it from a Peacekeeper trader in the PK boat stronghold. It's not cheap though as it cost me 40,008 dollars but I managed to farm enough cash for it.

I assume you have to beat the game to get it though as I never saw it prior to that.

The Funkadelic bow served me well until I beat the game but I suppose it's time to retire it. Once you beat the game, there's much better weapons than the Twitch drops.
