One week later still stuck on this stupid loading screen ... with only 1h30 of ingame playing.
And each time i forcequit the game it's a big mess, and i have to forcequit Windows too.
The few updates didn't fixed it ...
Any tips anybody ? Please
Am i the only one encountering this bug ?
Thanks !!
I've tried different things like adding codes in the launch prefs of the game, and of course updating my drivers, but that's all because not so many people have this bug, so not so many clues to solve it ... makes it a little scary.
What's weird is that i did ran the game, and played perfectly well all the beginning, outside of town. So i guess my computer can run it (i play with bootcamp, i play at minimum perf but it's already beautiful)
When i start a new game it's working again, but i don't want to play 1h30 again to get back to the moment it bugged because if i want a chance for repayement i have to play less then 3 hours ...
For the same reason I didn't reinstall the game as you propose.
I already sent a ticket to Techland, they answered "be sur you downloaded the last update" :)
Thanks again, i'm going back to Cyberpunk2077, crossing finger the next update will fix my problem ...
I have to force quit the game, only solution to escape the loading screen, but when i'm back on Steam desk i can see the game "Dying light 2" is still ON. It didn't really quit...
Then after, when i try to close Steam, i have the message "Steam must wait for "Dying light 2" to close properly ..." ( i don't know the exact words in english, i'm french).
So i click "quit anyway" but then, when i search on Task Manager, i can still see that the file "DyingLightGame_x64_rwdi.exe" is working _
And that file prevent me from a clean quit of Window, as I have to force quit by pressing the button at the back of my iMac otherwise Windows closing screen is turning for hours ....
Boring and annoying and odd ...
I can't even force close the game, I have to force close the COMPUTER...
Thanks for your answer
Shouldn't DirectX and Visuel C++ supposed to be fully updated and included with the installation of the game ?
Slender ... i sympathise ...
Yes i did try changing the resolution, i'm now on low resolution, screen 2560x1440.
The only thing i don't really manage because i'm not sure of what it could do is the "upscaler" settings, not sure to understand all the differences between LSR and the rest ... maybe i should try something here.
What i really don't understand is that i did play the game, and it was running very nicely.
Was it because it was all the part outside the town ? And maybe the city map changes things in the settings requirement ? i don't know...
I updated C+++ as Kilexe was suggesting but didn't solve my problem.
What's more annoying is that each time i launch the game to try any solution, i end up force closing the computer ... because after force quiting "DyingLight2" nothing respond anymore, it's like this stupid "DyingLightGame_x64_rwdi.exe" file is bugging everything.
Very boring.
The last thing i could do is reinstalling, but that solution never worked for me.
I finally tried a clean new re install with the last update, but sadly it didn't solve anything ...
Even worse, now i don't have ANY SOUND AT ALL (not in the menu, not in the game) ....
That's the most f*¨cked up buggy game i've ever (tried to) play ...
Any ideas for the "no sound at all" bug ?
Enjoy the game if you can !
