Map looses random markers

I've been joining my friends game and when we quit and reload areas we have discovered are missing off the map and we must rediscover them. One settlement has a parkour challenge and we keep getting "new parkour challenge" or something like that and we all already have gold on it. We loose all sorts of places like convoys, hollows, settlements, safe houses, mission givers, landmarks, subways, etc. The joinees loose these markers constantly the host also says he looses them as well but he has the intelligence of a carrot so I don't know for sure....

Same here in single player, every time I start the game something has changed on the map. Markers need to be rediscovered, hideouts needs to be reactivated. Really frustrating when you want to find and complete everything.
