Side Quest Bug
title, so early on on my play-through, when we first reach the Bazaar you get the side quest title Cheers where you investigate poisoned water being sold, for a time i didn't to it to save it to do later but after a long while when i decided to do it already it was not trackable also went to the quest area but cant do anything about it the quest NPC is there but cant interact with it but still shows up in the map but it says its already completed even tho its still marked in the map, not sure how this happened, was just wondering if anyone else got this issue?

Yeah, I've got this issue with a different quest. Can't find a fix/workaround. So i guess it cant be done. Either restart or wait for a patch then restart.

Yeah, it seems some side quests are main quest sensitive, so if you progress main stuff too much you can find it puts you past a point of being able to do the sidequest. I have a similar one that still shows up icon on map, noted as completed, after I didn't do it in time instead of finishing the main tree that lets you leave the first zone.

I mean, it kinda makes sense in my case, since depending on choices certain chars are no longer available in the zone. A little frustrating tho.

That's really helpful to know. Pity it's not made clear in-game. So thanks, good enough reason for me to start again because i skipped so many side-quests.

really?did not know that, wished they made it auto complete then instead it still being visible in map but unable to do it, kinda annoying to see it just there on the map.

I have restarted, and I've done plenty of sidequests. I did all SQ before the story mission you do to reach the next area and haven't had the issue come up.
