So, I did some digging today and found that a large chunk of audio is being displaced to a single channel. The ONLY workaround for people having this issue, at this time, seems to be playing the game in STEREO ONLY. That way, the single channel is at least duplicated. You should also turn down effects and music to about half of what they are so you can clearly hear what is being spoken.
Also, if you have THX Spatial Audio or Sonic Studio on your PC at all then turning up vocalization seems to help a lot as well. It's better if you use headphones seemingly also. I found that running analog cables to my DAC (Logitech) is wonky but using digital is way better for the spoken dialogue in this game.
Yes, this NEEDS FIXED ASAP as the missing sound channels couldn't possibly have been missed in testing with mixed pc builds.
