Theres an option for holding f in the control settings if that helps. I don't think theyll get rid of it.

Especially the small bins where you have to get in just the right position to kick it open. Off the side slightly? Nope.

Shouldn't need to hold keys for 90% of actions in the game, either. Standing around with no animation playing, waiting on something that should be carried out instantly.

It's a contrivance designed for console gamers.
