"missing persons" Bugged Quest. Devs please fix

I quit out of the game hoping it would restart the quest. i chose to turn damien into carl and was forced to kill him. now everytime i load into my save damien is trapped behind a door that cant open and there is no way for me to kill him or get out of the building. this would be the case if you died as well during the fight. needs to be fixed. i understand its my fault for quitting out during the quest but the same would have happened if i had died.

if the devs can fix this that would be great. not sure if its possible but just open the door he is behind if you die during the quest.

oh my thank the lord baby jesus. i can kick him through the door. not sure whats going to happen after i kill him in 4 hours but ill update

okay so i was able to just kick him to death through the door. after i completed the quest the door opened. still should be patched though.

after you select to kill him, if you quit out, die, or ctd, after reload damien needs to be in the same room with you.
