True Friends side quest bug?

The quest description says "Look for the boys around the Bazaar". However, I'm not able to find anyone around the area. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It won't even let me start the mission

Got the same problem, found solution on website where this boy should be. hes not in places he should be. Despawned or something, maybe i have done something too early or too late and it is bugged now.

This quest is horribly bugged, a search of this forum for "True Friends" comes up with so many problems for it. lol

I had an issue where I didn't even see Nerys in the Bazaar after I did Unruly Brother, I went on the main story to the Raid one, saw Nerys at the campfire with a ! which said True Friends, but wouldn't let me accept... finished the whole raid/step of the main story. Went back to the Bazaar immediately trying to see if I could fix/find this side quest I missed... Nerys is nowhere to be seen. But I find Dominik outside shouting about Buddy. But the only option I get at the end is "Tell the boy you don't have time."

No Nerys/questgiver, no breadcrumbs on where else to go... I guess if you don't see it and immediately get it before the UNRELATED main quest which shouldn't stop True Friends in any way... then it's gone and you miss out on content.

Edit: I continued playing through to the main story quest "Revolution," and Nerys finally showed up again in the Bazaar with a ! for True Friends. Kinda sucks it was missing for so long, when everything I read is it was supposed to be available right after Unruly Brother.

Yeah. I think it's a bug of some sort. People keep saying that you have to talk to some kid, but I can't find him anywhere. For someone who likes to do every single quest, this is disappointing.

For me, he was at a different spot. I spoke to him first about his dog . After the conversation, I went inside and accepted the quest to find her children. Unfortunately, Dominik is no longer at either spot and has disappeared completely.

I died while fighting the brute infected. I went back in there, killed the brute, but it still said there were more infected to kill despite none being around. So I cant finish the quest.

You gotta save m and the dog related to another quest. Somewhere east of the water tower inside a nest.

It was a random encounter for some reason. Same place where you race the twins on the the 2th run (if you know what I mean)

There are always more infected any time I die…and not the kind ones, but the fitness ones…I cannot finish the quest! 😞😞

So I talked to the kids but now I'm supposed to go "find Moe on the top floor."
The issue now is, everytime I enter that building there's like 8 volatiles standing in the first room you get to... Impossible!!!
I'm not exaggerating, like 8-10 volatiles in one room, at night
