stuck in a safe house [solved]

im stuck in a safehouse with my friend. i move the dresser from the door but now the game respwaned me in the room and the dresser is moved back. i am stuck in room help.

Also stuck in the safe room on the east side of Houndfield. Things I've tried: restarting my game, having friends join (they are also stuck in the room too if they join my game now), dying again. You just keep respawning in here but there's no way out.

Want a screenshot? Only exit is the dresser which respawned and blocked the way out. There's no other exit.

go to the main screen, and select Load, and select the save file. For me, it put me in a different safehouse thankfully. IF that doesn't work, try to join someone else's game and hopefully when you get back to your game, you'll be in a different location.

joining someones game is what fixed me

Thank you! that worked for me, just join a quick game in the Online menue and you will spawn on another position.

They have not fixed the issue. It just happened to me, three months later. This game is a disappointment.

We have a new solution. None of the above worked for us. What we eventually did was have two people running and jumping on the windowsill of the fake window in the room. Our friend spawned glitched through the wall and ended up outside. He was able to loop back around and push the dresser out of the way. If that specific location doesn't work for you, keep trying things. Your friends' spawn locations seem kind of random, but eventually they'll glitch outside. We spent maybe 15 minutes leaving and joining before it worked.

As silly as this sounds, it worked; Friend dropped out and kept spawning at my position as I humped the window until he spawned outside and pushed the dresser out of the way. JC this game.

to fix it, i had my friend load up his game save and then rejoin, this causes the joining player to spawn at whatever outpost they were closest to last play time. then i had him run over and move the bookcase.
