Infinite Loading loop because of epicgames/AmazonAWS NO offline play

I had the problem with the endless loading screen. after giving the game internet access it worked. but i wanted to know what connection is the problem.
and if i block the connection to the address

api.epicgames.dev

the game don´t load. after the "click any key to start" screen.
if i allow the connection even for a second it loads and i can play without issues till the next start of the game where i have to give it internet again.

so why the fu** do i need internet to play this game in singleplayer.
and that means i fu**ing can't play the game if i have no internet because germany has bad internet.
and why the fu** is this a fu**ing epicshit adress which blocks the game from running without internet?
i don't want to have anything to do with them nor do i want them to have any data even if it is "anonymous" which in many cases its not.

and there are other addresses the game wants to connect to from ecpic games.

this is easily fixed by changing the epic IP addresses you are blocking from 0.0.0.0 to localhost in your hosts file so it can resolve the ip and get to the main menu instantly

no, it's just a little integration with EGS in DL 2

looks like its not only the epic integration but also amazon AWS which stops the game from loading

It should still block Epic. I don't block Amazon AWS so I don't know what to tell you about that. I only know that just changing the Epic IPs from 0's to localhost prevents it from timing out for 8-10 minutes.

it shouldt be hard to do this but i think the devs dont give a f*ck because they get money from epic for all the data they get from this game from players being forced to be online thanks to the epic integration...
