Huh? PC is the overall platform. Steam and GoG are just storefronts that sell the game on this platform

It's like saying in ads Dying Light 2 comes to computer devices! Since PC, PS4 and Xbox are all computer devices

Irrelevant, imo. Games have had preorders open earlier. Also, it's more like 8ish months. Not a year. If you're gonna round it, round it down to half a year.

Time will tell, maybe they release on all platforms or just steam or epic might snap it up closer to launch. Nothing is off the table at the moment.

It's perfectly normal to state PC only. Because they want to open their accessibility to all PC platforms. That includes Steam, Microsoft Store, GOG, EGS, the list goes on.

I get the state of paranoia due to it saying PC because that sends a signal that it could go to EGS, but time will tell.

Feeling the need for it to state "Steam" is like saying you want it to say "EGS." I despise EGS as much as the next guy, but PC is what it is, "PC".

"Why did they say Dying Light 2 comes to "PC." Why couldn't they be more specific and say "It's coming to Steam, GOG, etc"

because thats how its always been?

this platform was called pc before steam even existed >_> and back then the ads didnt say either "coming to walmart, toys r us and whatever else you call stores in america and also for consoles" back then it also was "coming to pc, console a, console b and so forth"

because those consoles are their own machine? you cant run a ps4 game on a xbox one?

pc is a platform, just like nintendo switch is one


or did you see any ads back then telling you a game comes to both pc and walmart?

to be fair, need for speed once actually did have a special walmart edition, but thats an exception and that nfs title (i think it was the third, could be the second but i think third) had some more special editions too for some reason
