Chris Avellone has been cleared

It looks like Chris Avellone, who was one of the original writers of this game until he was fired for unsubstantiated charges, has now been cleared and a public apology has been issued.

Chris Avellone worked on the game until his contract ended. He was not fired from the team in 2020 when those women made their initial accusations: "I worked on Bloodlines 2 for almost 2 and a half years, from 2016 to mid-2018, then my contract came to an end. The allegations against Chris Avellone didn't have anything to do with him being removed from the project. It had everything to do with Brian Mitsoda not approving his work so none of it was in the game in the first place so his contract wasn't renewed.

That's actually quite pleasing to hear. I wish justice took less time than mob opinion, but that's an inherent quality so it's an unsolvable problem.
I've personally seen manipulative ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ win a third parties opinion in both situations (false accusation and false denial)

Its about time they start handing out sentences for false allegations. "It wasn't their intention"...and "They wanted to support women in the industry". So just eliminate the man who is holding a position you dont believe he should have?

I see he is getting a 7 figure payment, not that it removes the taint on his name for many.
