How is keyboard play vs controller?

How well (if at all) does this game play with a keyboard?

Is it worth getting a controller hooked up to play it?

i did the first level with a keyboard and then the next two with a controller, and it's much better with a controller

Yes to the controller because WASD only lets you move forward/back/left/right and the ability to move in fluid circles or at angles is really helpful. It's not unplayable with a keyboard though, but then you should rebind the controls to make it as comfortable as possible for you.
