friend is streaming lis2 on discord, cannot hear the voices during cutscenes

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? we've restarted the game, opened a new save file and everything. I can hear all of the background music and noises, but the voices just don't come through at all. They can hear the voices fine, so it's an issue with the sound coming through discord I believe.

lis2 dev screws up the audio settings, but there's a workaround for it, try putting your audio setting to Mono, you should be able to stream in discord

I am also having trouble sharing my discord audio with my friends. When I try to share my screen, they hear the background just fine, but are unable to hear the dialogue.
