Report a translation problem
I work in the games industry myself, so I know bugs happen, but really something this game breaking and easy to accidentally trigger (all I did was quit the game after a save point) should have been picked up by QA.
EDIT: I just went to replay Chapter 3 and found out you can pick back up at a bunch of different points, including the truck stealing scene, so thank you DONTNOD for having that as a feature! It's like the designers knew QA wouldn't catch all the game-breaking bugs, or at least prepared for the possibility!
