Can't select major choice

So I'm at the weed farm now, at Big Joe's and Cassidy's kerfuffle and the game's not letting me make a choice between intervening and doing nothing. Clicking LMB on either choice does nothing, whereas it worked earlier in the episode.

I'm stuck here, too. She just got slapped over the head and I'm supposed to choose to do nothing or have my little teen alter ego stand up to this guy with an assault rifle because this grown street-wise woman apparently can't take care of herself or something. Some choice, huh?

To add insult to injury, the game won't even let me select either choice.

i had that problem at camp when i had the choice of either stay and get a haircut or go to sleep with daniel i clicked on stay and getting a haircut but i was forced to go with daniel.

I'm stuck here too. I tried playing other episodes with major choices and everything works fine, but I can't select either of these two options in Episode 3 for the love of me. :(

I'm having the same issue. Not sure why since the game was working fine up until now. I can't finish the episode until this gets fixed!

Solved.
I restarted the game, then I chose "play episode" instead of selecting "continue". Then I selected the scene with that choice and resumed playing from there. I don't know why, but everything worked fine.

Hey there folks - sorry to hear you've encountered an issue. Could you explain a bit more perhaps? Do the choices light up at all when you move to them? Does the UI seem to work and clicking simply does nothing? Do you have a controller attached to the PC (even if you're not using it?)

Hi, so I restarted the computer and rebooted, then it worked fine, but I don't know if others have been successful. While experiencing the problem, the screen did not show Big Joe or Cassidy, only Sean and the greenhouse, as if it was in regular game mode, except with the choice UI overlaid on top. The choices did light up, but didn't allow clicking.

Works for me now, not sure what did it. I tried several times - maybe rebooting is what fixed it. Not sure.

I'm on a Win 10 PC, playing with mouse and keyboard. Everything seemed to work (the game didn't hang, the choices lit up, and so on), the only thing wrong was that the mouse clicks for choosing options didn't register.

I'm still stuck at that point of the game today. Tried to restart the computer & the game, even played the episode again from the start, but nothing seems to work. I just can't get past that choice. It really sucks.

I'm having this issue in the 4th episode with the first major choice. It doesn't light up and won't let me choose. In earlier episodes it has been taking forever to light up and let me choose, but it always eventually let me. Now it's not happening.
