Game not launching

I tried everything and I only played episode 1 when it released and wanted to check it out again yesterday on a new pc and it just doesn't start. I press start game and nothing happens

(update): out of nowhere, it started working again after reinstalling, eventhough i tried that many times

Same for me. Even after the new patch I downloaded just a few minutes ago.

I had the same issue after the 4th episode update. I eventually got it to launch by right clicking on LIS2 in Steam -> Local Files tab -> Verify Integrity of Game Files. There was one file missing and after it redownloaded, I got LIS2 to launch.

I did that. All files successfully validated, and my issue isn't resolved.

I have a very good PC, so minimum requirements aren't the issue.

Also, there's no error messages or anything, when I launch the game on Steam it does strictly nothing (no windows opened, nothing in the task bar, nada), and after a few seconds, the game briefly synchronise with steam clound, like it was closed.

I managed to make my game start by reinstalling the Microsoft visual c++ 2013 package. I really hope this will work for you as well guys.
